Easy construction.

This kit is the PERFECT project for a beginner to assemble and enjoy the results! There aren't many parts to play around with and the sound of this amp is AWESOME! The integrated circuit requires a heatsink, but with a little imagination and maybe some research to find one, this problem can be solved. Simply screw, clip, or screw the IC's metal tab to a metal object to remove heat from the IC. A 4-inch square piece of aluminum cake pan is better than nothing! When it gets too hot to keep your finger on it, just turn the volume down. The speaker and power connections are simple and the audio input connections are easy to figure out BUT remember NO VOLUME CONTROL is included. If you cut the 3.5mm audio cable with the male end on one end, plug the cut end (3 wires common/left/right) into the kit's audio input jack and connect to a phone or other source, which has a headphone jack with volume control, and that's it. A cheap and easy volume control is to connect the input cable as above and use one of these. ref=sr_1_2?crid=2WI1ZEUC4SAWY&keywords=Headphones+volume+controls+integrated&qid=1581652615&sprefix=Headphones+volume%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-2
