I recently bought a new tank with a broken light. The suction cup fits perfectly where the old light was plugged in. I got this lantern as it was submersible so fitting it to the bottom of the cap wasn't a problem and if it falls off it's not dangerous if it gets into the water. Also, I love how bright it is and the light works great for showing off my Glo Betas colors! The remote control is great and I love that it has a 12 hour timer so I can set it up and forget it and it also provides light for my beta when I'm out of town. Installation was very easy and I also checked the suction cups on the side of my tank and they are good and strong. All in all, it's a very nice little bright stripe.
