I should have listened to the feedback. If you have any type of protective case on your Pixel 1, the round head on the magnetic tip will not penetrate far enough and the phone will NOT charge. The product itself is actually a surprisingly good product. It works, good design but useless if you have a case like most of us. All a manufacturer has to do to make this product GREAT is make the USB-C tip 1-2 millimeters longer. If they did, it would work in ANY scenario, absolutely. As it stands this product is useless unless your phone has a case which I think defeats the purpose. I want to leave the tip in the port when the case is on, so that I don't weaken the charging surface on the cell phone over time. I can't do that with this product, a total of $15 wasted as I won't be taking the case off to put the charger in and then taking off the charger to put the case back on. Disappointing because it can be a good product if the manufacturer made sure it would work with regular cases and I don't cut out space in my case to accommodate this product.
