Excellent tires. Extremely gentle. There are no nicks or bumps that I can see. Either I have become accustomed to the noise, or it has almost completely lost its disruptive qualities. The moment you step off or onto the asphalt is the first time you sense it. If I had to choose between ease and protection, I'd go for the latter every time.
