This is an amazing little radio, for the price and the features you get it's hard to beat, it works great with the 13551.09 rugged comb mount. There aren't many radios with RF gain, PA option and weather band in this size and price range. The NOAA weather radio is by far my favorite on this radio. There is nothing on the Internet or anywhere else that can provide you with local weather forecasts as accurate as NOAA does. , It will track the storm and tell you where it will strike and at what time. Great little radio with my only complaint being that it needs a dimmer, the orange glow can be bright at night until your eyes get used to it. I have upgraded the radio with a powerful D104 microphone and it really helps with my highway transmission. For trail riding, the standard microphone is more than effective. Great radio! Fear not, if you are considering this radio for your Jeep, you will not be disappointed.
