We recently adopted a Yorkie Poo who now weighs 12 pounds. Locking it up when we were out for several hours proved a difficult task before we bought the Petedge box. We tried using a wire "gate" system [no roof, no floor, just a fence] and a plastic "play area" for children [same]. and in both cases our little pup was able to get up and out of the enclosure in no time. to give him the opportunity to search the house in our absence to inform us of his misfortune. As soon as we received the Petedge box, all these problems went away. It's pretty solid and it can't get out of the box. [Now we've dropped his nickname "Houdini". LAUGH OUT LOUD]. We bought a medium/large box although it is small and it is recommended to use the small one. We prefer that he has a playroom and since we also bought a Slumber Pet Sherpa Crate, Medium/Large, Natural Beige he didn't even think to get it dirty as he uses the entire surface as a 'sleep' considered. area and no space for"pot". While it easily folds for storage, we leave it open and it packs into boxes a few times throughout the day for naps or chewing on its tough bones. He's not scared of it and now even when he knows we're leaving the house he doesn't whine anymore when we put him in the box and close the door :) :) :) This Petedge box is worth every penny. & more!
