It was easy to install but didn't stay on the vacuum. The red latch does not fully fit the groove on the vacuum handle. The first time I tried to use it, the lid detached from the latch and the spring inside fell off. Upon reassembly, I found that the tab on the red latch was too large to fit in the groove. I used a razor blade to shave off about 1/16" and used super glue to reattach the latch cover. Now it works fine.
