later I just wanted to start this review as above because before I bought it I asked if it was made in the USA and no one could answer the question. So I bought it anyway (it's the right height for my needs) and the box clearly says 'Made in China'. So now you know. It's great and I use it every day. It's the perfect height to fit under the nozzle of my desktop reverse osmosis system and I like having the water always ready to go. A jug made of very transparent sparkling glass perfectly complements the room. The handle is the right shape and it really doesn't drip from the spout. I can easily pour from a pitcher into a bottle without a funnel. I would have preferred an American made product but this jug did not disappoint. I haven't hit it, dropped it, or heated it, so I can't comment on its durability. Overall I'm happy with it.
