The most important elements to me are the quality of the light, the battery life, the ease of use and whether this thing can take a hit and the light is testing all my drawers. I'M SURE IN LOVE! It gave off a huge light source for its size, and the color rendering index is very accurate. I used it continuously for over an hour and still had plenty of juice. Doesn't take up space in my camera bag and is perfect as an extra light source or for adding color to backgrounds. The RGB range is really good. I love that special effects aren't officially used, but it's always nice to have that option. If you are a video maker or photographer, you need this light
