I bought these pants for a 7 day backcountry hike in Grand Teton National Park. I didn't expect to like these pants so much and I'm so glad I ordered them! I wore them every day on the trip and they repel mosquitoes, dry very quickly, block the wind and keep me warm. They also had enough space to wear a warm base layer underneath. I would recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable and cute hiking pants with an elastic waistband. I'm 5ft 8in, 160lbs and ordered a size large. They fit great and the belt sits high on my waist. My only feedback: I wish they had regular front pockets. There is a back zip pocket and a side cargo pocket on the right leg, perfect for my bear spray when I'm not backpacking.
