I bought it to replace a worn out carabiner I've been wearing on a keychain for about 10 years. I like almost everything about this thing, but it has one serious flaw. About once a week I take my key out of my pocket and realize that something is missing. It seems like the part cut off as a spring could flex laterally enough to move the whole thing out of the loop and then my keys would start falling off. So far I've noticed and found missing items right away, but it's only a matter of time before I miss something, so I'll find something else to use.
