I connected the microphone to the radio and the interface seemed to work fine. Some keys on the keyboard were difficult to press.

Bought because the mic cable on my original Yaesu mic was torn and frayed. I connected the microphone to the radio and the interface seemed to work fine. Some keyboard keys had difficulties with contact registration. The worst thing was the up/down channels on top of the mic - they didn't work at all. After pressing, there was not enough return, refused to release the button. As a result, I disassembled this microphone and tore off the cable from it. I connected the coiled cord to my original Yaesu mic and I'm back in business. The cable is a bit pricey, but if I'm ever in a desperate situation with mic issues, I might be able to steal more parts from it.
