Great product to match accessory

The plastics and electronics of your original purchase seem to last forever, but when it comes to cables forget it! Considering buying a genuine Yaesu replacement I thought "what the heck" and jumped at the chance to purchase this product. I am very happy.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent microphone for the money with great sound quality!

I needed to replace a missing microphone and took the risk of buying this one. Not only is the price fantastic, but the sound quality is excellent. My friends say it gives the sound a good punch and a clean and crisp sound, just like mine. And many dollars less than the Yaesu brand microphone. I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good value for money - headphones and mics

My high rating is primarily due to the price compared to the original mic. There are several notable things. The surface of the microphone is more wrinkled than the original. The silkscreen is not as pretty and legible. Both are perfectly acceptable. There are little things. The original mic has cement behind the lamp and locking switches that attach them to the circuit board. This mic doesn't have that, so the switches can bend with rough handling. A good replacement considering the price. It…

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Not the best

Bought because the mic cable on my original Yaesu mic was torn and frayed. I connected the microphone to the radio and the interface seemed to work fine. Some keyboard keys had difficulties with contact registration. The worst thing was the up/down channels on top of the mic - they didn't work at all. After pressing, there was not enough return, refused to release the button. As a result, I disassembled this microphone and tore off the cable from it. I connected the coiled cord to my original…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

This worked for my weird situation, and it worked fine!

So the radio I'm using is a Chinese copy of the Yaesu model. So sue me. While the bug was mostly disappointing, after almost three years of use, I found that the comments "It sounds like you're on Chinese radio" were due to the microphone not working. I own it most of the time. I tried this mic my best friend just bought and it worked great. Best of all, it ended up with a weird RJ-11 6P6C connector that's hard to find (because it rarely appears in the description). So I ordered my own…

  • The best in its niche
