My high rating is primarily due to the price compared to the original mic. There are several notable things. The surface of the microphone is more wrinkled than the original. The silkscreen is not as pretty and legible. Both are perfectly acceptable. There are little things. The original mic has cement behind the lamp and locking switches that attach them to the circuit board. This mic doesn't have that, so the switches can bend with rough handling. A good replacement considering the price. It doesn't have all the proven fixes that the original has. Sounds just as good as the original mic in the air.
