I ordered a VGA cable because I couldn't tell if it was included. VGA attaches to the monitor and screws directly into the desktop connector. A power cord is also included, but I used a cord from an old monitor to make installation easier. plug and play hp I'm assuming it's the VGA cable that's connected, but I'm not very smart. It is blue and screws into the blue connector on the PC. Excellent color and size, convenient swivel screen. perfect for old Win7 that had a white monitor.
