Review on πŸ”Œ Wadoy 30 Amp RV Plug Set with Upgraded Handle Receptacle Adapter - Male and Female Electrical Plug 55245 by Micheal Wolf

ATTENTION, what is your wire size?

These plugs will not fit 8 gauge 30 amp or even 10 gauge 12 gauge RVs. The ports are poorly designed, especially the connector. Check the gauge size and make sure your new plugs will fit the correct gauge. Also poor design for outdoor use, you just need to seal them up or camp if it's not raining. The description says solid or solid for #12 wire. They are NOT water correctors. My fault is trying to save money. I've been doing this since 1972, you think I know better, I just cut them off and threw them away. Tomorrow I'm going to go to a pickup truck parts store and get some HD Camco connectors for this project. What attracts is their size. The plug fits well in most RVs that you plug a cord into. Camco's yellow handle will not fit, but Camco makes a mini that fits well and will accommodate a larger wire. DO NOT downsize the cable by cutting it to accommodate these small connectors and save yourself a few bucks. I put zero because I can't think of a single 30 amp service I would hook them to. 15 amps or 20 amps no more than #12. A good application would be making a residential RV converter plug which is a #14 15/amp cord. For example when you visit a friend. Not recommended for park or coast
