Replacement RV sockets

I bought these because my old containers have warped in the heat and no longer fit properly. I removed the old ones and installed these. I had to trim the wires a little to fit in size, but not critical. Hopefully they will last a few years before being replaced.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Parts parts to fit plugs, inlets and sockets

beware of missing or loose parts. I had to return my first order because a screw was missing. The second time around, one of the screws wasn't where it should have been and I figured I'd have to send it back. The screw fell completely out of the packaging. The rest is OK. Not great and not bad. Would probably have given four stars if it weren't for the parts issues.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It is not tight and does not protect against rain.

This plug will fit but the female connectors feel short and do not allow the plug to sit well. We have made a purchase that will probably be replaced by another socket in the near future. Update: This fork only lasted about 1.5 months. It was delivered on 05/03/2021 and replaced due to wear and tear on 06/27/2021. Please be careful when purchasing this product, it cannot withstand rain.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Will not fit all

You get what you pay for. Tips are poorly designed, not WP

Described as an RV receiver but instructions say it's for dry sites. Duhh camper outside. (See image.) I didn't notice this until I finished unscrewing the low budget plug and socket. I've wired a lot of outlets, and unwrapping stranded copper wires to get them into cheap grommets can cause resistance under any load (see image). It's an emergency cord only and can only be used when the camper is too far from a utility pole but I'm still not happy with it so I'll wrap it in plastic to keep it…

Pros
  • Easy to use

ATTENTION, what is your wire size?

These plugs will not fit 8 gauge 30 amp or even 10 gauge 12 gauge RVs. The ports are poorly designed, especially the connector. Check the gauge size and make sure your new plugs will fit the correct gauge. Also poor design for outdoor use, you just need to seal them up or camp if it's not raining. The description says solid or solid for #12 wire. They are NOT water correctors. My fault is trying to save money. I've been doing this since 1972, you think I know better, I just cut them off and…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
