Review on Sunblocker Helmet Shield by Niko Knight

I've seen them advertised in motorcycle magazines for years. Bought one for my helmet and one for my wife's helmet. Installation is pretty easy by following the instructions. The material at the bottom of both helmets had to be shortened a bit. What we've both experienced is that for an item to be functional it needs to reach far enough down to block the sun. I did exactly that without messing around with the helmet position, we reviewed the footage. The optical transparency of the material is ++AWFUL++. It's like looking through glasses that haven't been cleaned in five years. On a recent two week motorcycle ride I took off my sun helmet and stuck a thin strip of black 3M tape to the top edge of the face shield. Works great and is above my line of sight. HSB thrown in the trash can. Goodbye forever! 🚽
