Installation key

It took a few weeks to get used to, but after trying it at night and in the rain I'm convinced that this is probably one of the most expensive purchases. I made for my bike. I had to reinstall the product 3 times to get it installed properly and yet the way it is cut will have a noticeable impact on the quality of its effects. -1: There is distortion in the film: this is not suitable for motorcycling and requires my visor to be raised -1: The film has no smooth transition (it is a solid color).

Works as advertised, great product

I've spent a lot more money on a double sport helmet to shade the horizon from the glaring spring and fall sun. The visor only covers about 50% of the top center of the screen on my visor. The sunscreen covers the entire length. The double nose of a sports helmet can cause a lot of noise even in high wind speeds on the highway. The sunblock is silent, easy to remove, very effective in protecting against the sun but still being visible and costs much less than a double sports helmet. Visor…

Five stars for helmets

works so well I bought another one for a friend. I use mine on a tinted visor on a Shoei RF1000 or something. He's been there for about 4 years. It didn't blister or even start peeling. Installation was so easy, even I did it. For me, not only does this stripe add an extra hue, but I can even differentiate shapes by the hue of this stripe and the hue of the Shoei visor. For example, I drive towards the sun. Yes, the double shaded area blocks the sun more, but I can still see the outline of a…

save your money A product that is completely inconspicuous.

I've seen them advertised in motorcycle magazines for years. Bought one for my helmet and one for my wife's helmet. Installation is pretty easy by following the instructions. The material at the bottom of both helmets had to be shortened a bit. What we've both experienced is that for an item to be functional it needs to reach far enough down to block the sun. I did exactly that without messing around with the helmet position, we reviewed the footage. The optical transparency of the material is…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No Automatic

I bought one of these because my new helmet doesn't have a flip up sun visor and the sunglasses are uncomfortable in the helmet. I have a Fly Tourist helmet with a larger eye hole - about twice the size shown in the product photo. The sunshade was easy to put on and did the job, but on its own it wasn't wide enough to shade my eyes the way I wanted. Solution? I bought a second sunscreen and applied right under the first one! I hope you can see it in the attached photo. The line you can see…

Works with Pin-Lock insert

This is the second sunscreen I have bought. Unless you have a helmet with a visor attached, there are very limited ways to protect your eyes from the sun at the beginning or end of the day. This part does a reasonable job but lets in some light which is good as it takes up about 20% of your shield height so you can still look up to see traffic lights etc. This is the best you can do without resorting to the black tape at the top of your shield. I wasn't sure if my pinlock liner would work with…

waste of money. fits protective gear

Doesn't fit snugly in the Schuberth C3 Pro due to the fog shield overlapping. Then, on the first ride, it blew off when I pulled up the visor to keep it ventilated while riding. It helped block the sun, but an internal dark screen that can slide down works better. I was hoping it would block glare to improve visibility of the handlebar mounted phone screen as the internal screen is hard to see on a sunny day. But if it doesn't stay in place when you deflate the visor, it's basically useless…
