Review on Sunblocker Helmet Shield by Brent Walker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It took me two of these to work properly but I am very happy with the result.

I bought one of these because my new helmet doesn't have a flip up sun visor and the sunglasses are uncomfortable in the helmet. I have a Fly Tourist helmet with a larger eye hole - about twice the size shown in the product photo. The sunshade was easy to put on and did the job, but on its own it wasn't wide enough to shade my eyes the way I wanted. Solution? I bought a second sunscreen and applied right under the first one! I hope you can see it in the attached photo. The line you can see bisecting the two shades is where they overlap about 1/8 inch. The line is well above my line of sight and doesn't bother me. I've also attached a photo of me wearing a helmet so you can see the position relative to my eyes. Shades do not cover the eyes, but serve as shadows to block the sun's strongest glare on a bright day. Perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive
