These cans are strong, sturdy, won't leak and most importantly, they're built to last. I have 20 of these. I bought the first ones in 1977, the last ones in 2012. The design has remained almost the same except for the release handle. The old ones had a metal handle that worked well but stuck to the skin in sub-zero temperatures. Painful. The new plastic grip is tough in all temperatures (I live in the White Mountains of New Hampshire) and feels good when you're pulling it in 20-degrees below zero. She hasn't had any problems yet.
