Review on 🐦 Parrot PF728000 ANAFI Drone: Foldable Quadcopter with 4K HDR Camera, Autonomous and Silent Flight, 180° Vertical Swivel Camera - Dark Grey by Mary Hovatter

*Updated Rating*Since I first met Anafi, I've had more time to fly and experiment with the drone. Obviously, WiFi range is highly dependent on where you fly to. But the Anafi seems to be even more prone to Wi-Fi interference than other drones (including the Parrot Bebop 2) I've flown in the same locations. Nevertheless, I found that the Anafi has a very good range. in areas of low interference. In fact, I was able to fly over 5,000 feet before losing signal. It is impressive. Bottom line, when he's good, it's very good, but when he's bad, it's very bad. triggered due to signal loss or low battery. Due to my continued experience with Anafi, I am increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. There's still room for improvement, but I like it a lot better. A new problem I'm having is that I can't upload videos or images to my phone (Galaxy S9+) through the FreeFlight 6 app like you should be able to. I made sure the app had the right permissions, tried three different SD cards in the drone, and even tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. I hope this gets fixed in an app update soon. *First Review* -------------- Video and image quality are excellent (better than expected actually) - Good gimbal controls and image stabilization with a unique 180 degree tilt - Auto focus and auto exposure is impressive. - Very stable, maneuverable and quiet in flight. - Lightweight and portable, but a carrying case should also be designed to carry the controller. More detailed flight control settings are missing. - Very disappointing WiFi range in urban areas of only 500-1000 feet. Much less than the specified distance. The flight times are ok, but given the drone's small size and minimal weight, it should have been designed for a significantly longer flight time. Overall I would rate it as a hybrid between a very good toy and a semi-professional flight camera, but honestly I was hoping for more.
