Less than I thought.
I knew I would get a small jewelry box, but personally it was smaller. I can still use it, but not for as many things as I originally thought. You can remove the inner baffle if you don't have a lot of different parts. The pendant options on the necklace lid should be for necklaces 20" and under. Overall the construction is solid and you can keep it on a dresser or in a desk drawer and one day it will easily crush in a suitcase.
