Review on TYR Alliance Backpack Red Black Sports & Fitness by Jamal Gignilliat

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good backpack: water sports

I swim 3-4 times a week at Masters Club. I like this bag over the speedo because it takes up most of the time. I like the pocket layout, especially the wet pocket on the front. I put my hat and suit inside for quick access before heading to my locker and DJing at home. Side pockets for toiletries, padlock, MP3 player, extra caps and goggles. I like the carabiners for my goggles and buoy. The main compartment is small. I put on a pair of short Tyr swim fins, paddles, shower flip flops and a towel. Everything else is crowded. That and the relatively small hole are the only things standing in the way of 5 stars. This is my second Tyr Alliance bag. My first lasted a little over a year. I could have made it to the last two but for less than $40 it was nice to refresh. It was getting a little uncomfortable outside and the zippers were starting to get stuck. I live on the beach and have used it like hell too, so the cost of doing business. I bought a Speedo bag. I liked the look and the room but was annoyed that it kept falling over. I returned it. This one stands on a locker room bench, a floor, a chair, which is a nice feature for any training bag. The Alliance is a great training bag if you don't need to pack a lot. In this case, you might want to buy a Speedo mesh bag for your toys and this one for your personal belongings. Just don't forget a second bag when exiting the pool or locker room.
