Spacious but a little flimsy

Packed and ready for the triathlon, this bag holds all my gear including running and cycling shoes, a full wetsuit and my helmet. There is even space for a towel in the transition area. The straps are quite comfortable and when I bike to a swim the bag (with lots of junk in it) sits comfortably on my back. I'm taking off a star because the fabric and stitching are definitely thin/thin and I don't know how long this will hold up. Overall though, it survived this season and kept all my gear…

Be like us, take 45l.

We have had this 45 liter bag for about 3 weeks now. This thing fits in an ARMY and is light enough for a 9 year old girl. This bag can hold your board, fins, parka, beach towel, swim caps, baby lunch bag, sunscreen, shower gel, glasses and a change of clothes. + more! My kid often walks between swimming and softball and this bag can carry everything they need to get ready for softball practice right after. It stands, protects against wet floors and dries quickly. I love the pockets and…

Backpack for training/competition/all around

The size and depth of this backpack is exactly what I had in mind. I'm a professional swimmer but I'm fed up with big 45 liter bags. It's right between them. I brought this to Europe and I liked the fact that the top zip opens in such a way that the opening opens next to the straps or near my back, not outward. The zippered sunglass pocket and my pens and pencils are safely protected in the pen pocket in an external zippered half-mesh, half-cloth pocket. Add a compartment for shoes or wet…

Very poor quality and completely torn after 14 months.

My son in 4th grade was using it for 14 months when it suddenly broke on all corners and now it's completely useless. In itself it was spacious, with good straps, and for a year it was a good bag, then after a year of warranty all the bottom corners of the bag began to tear, which, although it has reinforced fabrics to wear, is clearly of poor quality. I expect the swim bag to last more than a year and when I contacted TYR customer service they said the warranty was expired and they don't even…

This is the one! Sailing

I was looking for a replacement for the original TYR Alliance bag on this purchase. After choosing this backpack, I also ordered the Speedo bag, the old TYR Alliance version and the new version with a new design. My two biggest backpacking needs were that I needed a large opening and I wanted the bag to stand upright without falling. This bag had both. Compared to the Speedo bag which had a smaller capacity (35 litres), smaller opening and could not stand up. The new version of the original TYR

I HATE that awful - horrible - hinged main compartment

New review, 3 weeks old. Like most swimmers, I take a suit, goggles, towel and shampoo with me into the pool. So that I don't get bored during training, I also swim with a tugboat and flippers. I decided on a (very small, aerodynamic (or aqueo?) swim board, which prompted me to switch to a new swim bag. DO NOT BUY THIS BAG - stick to the speedometer! TODAY I (after trying again) sworn to do sensible gear in this poorly designed bag is HORRIBLE TOP OPENING - you have been warned - I will be…

Good backpack: water sports

I swim 3-4 times a week at Masters Club. I like this bag over the speedo because it takes up most of the time. I like the pocket layout, especially the wet pocket on the front. I put my hat and suit inside for quick access before heading to my locker and DJing at home. Side pockets for toiletries, padlock, MP3 player, extra caps and goggles. I like the carabiners for my goggles and buoy. The main compartment is small. I put on a pair of short Tyr swim fins, paddles, shower flip flops and a…
