10/10 Definitely recommend. This is owned by an adult male over 30 which means it was purchased and used by/for me, not a child, and still loves it. Combined with music, this type of visual interaction can really help instill a childlike sense of awe and appreciation. IMO, update ne-wei11/20/20 - unfortunately the red LED part of the rotating trio of RGB LEDs (not the 48 or so LEDs that wrap around the bottom perimeter of the device, but 1 of the 3 that reside within ) shorted out or something like that, but I don't think it was a defect. I've moved a few times and used this item very often/heavy. Moving considerations aside, I've also taken a "party light" with me, well, to parties, music festivals, etc., and I believe the LED has failed from rough handling/dropping. Considering how much use I've had from it, as well as the profitability/value, replacing it wasn't difficult. There was a time when this particular model was out of stock, but a few months ago I noticed OG merchandise was back on the shelves. I pulled the trigger and, unsurprisingly, I was very pleased. Seems to have improved somewhat, just in terms of the quality of the components used. Other than that, and I've changed the logo and product information that was printed on the device that wasn't on the first one, the devices are exactly the same (which is what I was hoping for. Don't mess with perfection). I was very excited to get the full RGB experience again (unlike GB). I still have the first one which is actually great to use with a new device. Combine them with a noise sensitive LED strip and you have a very cool setup that adds a fantastic extra dimension to any listening experience. I'll say it again, the best $15 I've ever spent!
