I was pleasantly surprised by how thick this jacket is. My husband is 6’1 200lbs with broad shoulders and big arms, I bought him a large and it fit with room to wear a thick flannel or hoodie underneath. My husband was more than warm in 40 degree rain. The only odd thing was how the pockets are placed on the side of the jacket instead of near the front but my husband still used them and didn’t care at all.
