Review on 🧺 Moen 255145 DN9830BN 30-Inch Towel Bar in Brushed Nickel by Susannah Whitebird

Revain have since changed the description of this item, but when I bought it in February, it said "Inspiration" in the title. The label on the bar also says "Inspiration". You think if I bought an "Inspiration" towel rail, this 30 inch shelf would easily change, right? Oh no, the Inspirations towel rail has a 3/4 inch stem. This rod is 5/8 inch. That does not fit. Unfortunately, our bathroom wasn't finished and ready to be installed, so I didn't notice a difference and missed the 30 day return period. So be very careful before ordering this bar to make sure it is the right size for your mounting bars. Not all listings of Moen towel rails indicate bar size. I also don't understand why they don't just sell the 30" bar with mounting racks so I didn't have to buy an 18" towel rail to use the 30" bar. Why don't they just make 16" and 32" towel rails so they fit between the posts and you can mount them to wood and not just drywall? BTW I found the correct 3/4" rod on another site, model # DN9430BN. As for the rod itself, I like the idea of getting a 30" towel rail, we like big towels and can hang them The Moen taps are of good quality and look very nice in our bathrooms.
