🧺 Moen 255145 DN9830BN 30-Inch Towel Bar in Brushed Nickel Review

This is an economical way to get a 30 inch towel rail. It is very convenient that you can leave towels on it along the entire width. I ended up shortening it a bit. , It is easy to cut with a pipe cutter. I wrapped tape around where I cut to avoid scratching it. I also had to slide needle nose pliers into the end to widen it a bit to fit my Moen rack.

We like towel rails that prevent a large bath towel from wrinkling while drying. Not found in any brand! Use with Delta and Moen bars. Bought 18" towel rails and replaced pipes with these. Satin Nickel also fitted the Delta. Just make sure the diameter is the same. It's 5/8" and Moen DN9430BN is 3/4".

Bought this rod to make a 30" wide towel rail from the Moen Align 24" set. Worked great. Appears to be the same diameter, material and thickness as the 24" bar supplied by Moen and fits the ends of the bar perfectly. this 30 inch bar.

I bought this 30" towel rail because I wanted a longer towel rail but couldn't find a bigger towel rail than 24". If you look at this bar on Revain, Amazon will tell you that it's often bought with a Moen Preston heated towel rail. Here's what I bought, a 24 inch Preston towel rail, intending to use a spare. But this 30" hanger will NOT fit the Preston towel rail. It is much narrower in diameter. BUT it fits perfectly with the Moen Wembly heated towel rail. Here's what we did.

Revain have since changed the description of this item, but when I bought it in February, it said "Inspiration" in the title. The label on the bar also says "Inspiration". You think if I bought an "Inspiration" towel rail, this 30 inch shelf would easily change, right? Oh no, the Inspirations towel rail has a 3/4 inch stem. This rod is 5/8 inch. That does not fit. Unfortunately, our bathroom wasn't finished and ready to be installed, so I didn't notice a difference and missed the 30 day return…

I bought a 24" polished nickel Moen Banbury towel rail from a large store but wanted a longer towel rail. I ordered this rod (5/8" diameter) from Revain and it is perfect. The brushed nickel finish is exactly the same as the ends that came with the original Banbury towel rail set. The original rod in the box is only 21 1/2" long, so the entire original block is 24" long. On this 30" rod, the entire butt block is almost 34" long.
