Maybe Best Suited For a Calm Dog.

Our 45lb. German Shepherd does not like to stay calm and when on vacation we needed something to keep her in an open area. Since she is always on the go, this cable went every which way possible. Around trees, in knots, and also in water. The coating did not last at all and the cable would get kinked. The inner cable did rust since the coating wore off.It is relatively strong for how thin of a diameter it is, but my fear is that it could break with constant rubbing. If you have a dog that is calm and you just need to tie them up, I believe this would work well. If they are very active, you may need to look for something a little more durable.

Pros
  • Ideal for use with puppies who need to be kept on a leash for their own safety
Cons
  • The cable may become rusty or corroded, reducing its strength and effectiveness over time
