Great dog tie-out & meets New state canine restrictions.

Used on the strongest damn Pyrenees male dog I have ever encountered. He broke several chains & if not break as you think of breaking, he would literally stretch the links til there was no space or roundness in the links. He is that strong. So far, this cable, meets all new state restriction guidelines, has worked wonderfly. He has thoroughly tested it but cable has not failed.

Pros
  • although the plastic covering is chewable the cable itself is sturdy and holds up well
Cons
  • Will not be able to handle a large dog. The cable too thin.

I really like this runner but.

I have previously given this runner a 5 out of 5-star rating, now, I will probably have to go to a 4.0-4.5, due to the fact that our Siberian Husky was able to get the carabiner "screw in" connector to the harness we use, undone.A week ago I was ready to take our boy back in from his daily time outside when to my disbelief he was no longer connected to the runner. I eventually was able to get him after a long tenuous journey down a long hilltop that we live on. Now, I use the 2 previous runners

Pros
  • Our Great Dane loves to chase deer and she has never broken this one
Cons
  • The cable can become tangled and difficult to untangle, creating a safety hazard

I bought the 30 feet, up to 250lbs, version so it is heavy duty. I can't say if a dog can chew through it because my dog is 5yrs old and not a chewer but it has steel cable in it and is very strong. The carabiner has a screw tightening function and while it does not swivel, that hasn't caused me any problems. I live in a rainy area and haven't seen any rust develop on it despite being left in the yard since I purchased it in 2020. Still works great!

Pros
  • Very durable, plenty long enough. Too tough to chew through. Quality material.
Cons
  • My great

Still happy with my purchase

This was the longest lead i could find for my dog that wasn’t an overhead one like a zip line and the price wasn’t bad so I bought it. My 80lb lab pit mix bent the clasp within the first week and it no longer closed. The lead itself is durable and still worth the money so I just bought new heavy duty clasps to slip through and replace the ones it came with. Still worth the buy, but be cautious of the clasps if your dog likes to pull!

Pros
  • ULTRA STRONG: XiaZ dog leash wire cable is made of 5mm diameter high quality stainless steel wire rope, the pull is up to 5 KN by professional tensile test, ultra strong and durable for dogs up to 250 lbs, giving more space to move around freely while keeping him safe.
Cons
  • The cable could become wrapped around the dog's neck or body, causing injury or discomfort

Great dog runner. on my review.

Great line for dog tie out. Very sturdy, it would take a very determined dog to chew through this line. The clasp is strong but difficult to secure when muddy or covered in sand.I will order again.

Pros
  • Can accommodate dogs up to 250 pounds in weight
Cons
  • The cable may not stretch, causing discomfort to the dog and limiting its range of motion

Well made and they don’t tangle!

The dogs can’t chew thru these wires. , they r tangle free and they come in different sizes so u can decide how Much length u want to give them to run .

Pros
  • Safe and secure, this dog tie-out cable provides dogs with the freedom and space they need to thrive
Cons
  • The cable may not be suitable for use with all types of collars, limiting its effectiveness

Sturdy and does double duty

This leash does double duty for my dog. I bought it mainly for taking him camping. I use it as a leash and then attach a carabeiner to the handle to clip it to his dog trolley at the campsite. Its a steel cable encased in a plastic coating and very durable. I don't leave it outside all the time. Mostly just the 5 to 7 days we are at a campsite so I don't know if it would rust. However, I can imagine water could get underneath the plastic so I personally would not leave it outdoors all the…

Pros
  • Perfect length and it is sturdy and holds the strength of a husky dog.
Cons
  • The cable may not be strong enough for particularly active or strong dogs, putting them at risk if they break free

Maybe Best Suited For a Calm Dog.

Our 45lb. German Shepherd does not like to stay calm and when on vacation we needed something to keep her in an open area. Since she is always on the go, this cable went every which way possible. Around trees, in knots, and also in water. The coating did not last at all and the cable would get kinked. The inner cable did rust since the coating wore off.It is relatively strong for how thin of a diameter it is, but my fear is that it could break with constant rubbing. If you have a dog that is…

Pros
  • Ideal for use with puppies who need to be kept on a leash for their own safety
Cons
  • The cable may become rusty or corroded, reducing its strength and effectiveness over time

Awesome tie out for 9months

I LOVED this 50ft cable tie out, UNTIL IT BROKE 9months after purchase (purchased Feb2022).PROS: The Carabiners that used to come on it are very sturdy, remained rust free and easily lock/unlock (I noticed the newer version of this tie out have different ends and look like they will easily break). The cable itself remained tangle-free w/no kinks, bends or creases and we didn’t have any problems with it knotting itself, which is why this has been my favorite tie out so far.CONS: The design flaw…

Pros
  • Made with a durable coating that resists rust and wear
Cons
  • The cable could be too short to allow the dog to engage in all the activities it enjoys

Super Durable! Must buy

Bought this for my german shepard/ rottie pup who is VERY strong and playful. We hooked it up for her to play safely in our backyard. Super strong and durable, showing no signs of breakage or looseness.

Pros

Cons
  • The cable may rust or corrode over time, reducing its strength and effectiveness

Quick, Easy, strong connectors

Love the clip type connector! Bigger size is easier to attach dogs collar than the small kind on a leash. Love the Quick connect .

Pros
  • Allows dogs to safely roam and explore outdoor spaces
Cons
  • The cable could become hot in direct sunlight, potentially burning the dog's skin

Non-rotating clips on my review.

The quality of this item is great. The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars, was that the clips do not rotate, so the cable twists up quickly. This would be better marketed as a ‘runner only’ item

Pros
  • The lock on the clasps stays put, unlike the last one I purchased.
Cons
  • The cable may not be adjustable, making it difficult to adapt to changing circumstances or needs

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cable is good, but clasps are weak.

Great length of strong cable and durable coating but clasps gave out after a couple of months, they couldn't handle my 60lb Aussie chasing after cats and squirrels.

Pros
  • Made from high-quality materials that are designed to last
Cons
  • The cable could be difficult to remove from the ground, potentially damaging it or injuring the user

Unbreakable and chew proof

It does what it is designed for: keeps your pet where you put him/her. The plastic twisted and bent open exsposing the numberous cables within. I am sure it will rust and break there later but for now it is working as designed and gives the dog plenty of room to roam and walk around.

Pros
  • 304# STAINLESS STEEL HEAVY DUTY BUCKLE: Tie out for large dogs use 304# stainless steel clasp, totally rust proof, more durable and stronger than others, One end is connected to a post, and the other end is connected to the dog, which can provide the dog with free movement in your backyard.
Cons
  • The cable may not be suitable for use in crowded or high-traffic areas, as the dog could pose a danger to others
