I live in California so yeah I really needed an air purifier in my house! This Hestom air purifier was pretty quiet even when I didn't put it to sleep. Noise at night didn't bother me. The digital display and air quality gauge work amazingly well and I know this because I was trying to make sandwiches for lunch and cooking bacon which was producing some odor and then I suddenly saw the numbers on the digital display increase rapidly. I opened all the windows and turned on the air purifier to maximum power, and after a minute it was normal. So here's the most important part! I used to be allergic to dust and used to sneeze a lot, even when I was cleaning my apartment. I don't know if it was because of this air purifier or not, but interestingly I stopped sneezing after I started using it every day. In any case, I am grateful to myself that I bought this product.
