I've been looking for a dog food that our rescued Maltese will eat for 11 months. At 3 years old he needed dental care when we got him (probably because he only ate leftovers). For 11 months I have had to cook chicken and rice to mix with dog food. He doesn't eat half the time anyway. I researched foods for picky eaters. I bought one dog food after another. He wrinkled his nose at everyone. I've had dogs and cats all my life, but I've never seen such a demanding and stubborn animal. He will go for days without food. I ordered a small bag of Tiki Dog Aloha Petites which arrived today. When he saw me opening a bag of dog food while I was feeding him, his excitement quickly switched to his usual "no, I don't eat dog food" expression and he left. I gave him a piece. He sniffed, reluctantly took it, threw it down in front of him, sniffed a little more, then tasted it. Then he went to his bowl and ate every bite without looking up and began searching for more, tail wagging. Thank God the search is over! Thank you Tiki Aloha.
