At first I thought I didn't like it but over time it started to work. If your lips are pretty bad, this may not be the first course of action. My lips were cracked and flaky and it hurt when I first applied it and it didn't really help. I decided to apply a little Neosporin to the outer edges and corners of the lips, which suffered the most. I then finished with a smooth, nourishing lip balm. I did this about 3 times a day for several days and my lips improved a lot. I have since found cortibalm to be very helpful in keeping my lips in that healed state. It even lasts longer than other lip balms before needing to be reapplied. I use it under my lipstick and it really helps my lipstick color stay in place longer! It smells a little different, like a light medicinal scent. No flavor or shine.
