3 months passed, touch screen not working: problem solved

I've been using it for 3 months now, rarely use it and I'm very careful when I use it. It's the most expensive thing I've ever bought, next to a car and an apartment, and I treat it with care. The touch screen stopped working a week ago, I use it for graphics and it's obviously a HUGE problem. Customer service hasn't been able to help so far and I doubt I'll get a replacement. If you're willing to spend $1,500 on something that doesn't have a working touchscreen, go for it. If not, then don't do it. Such an experience might be rare, do your research anyway. --- Although the support team couldn't solve the problem, I did. After days of "jumping through hoops" and trying solution after solution, I stumbled upon a problem. An accessibility feature was activated that affected the responsiveness of the screen. After I turned it off, the functionality was back to normal. This device and Chrome OS are entering new areas for the operating system. This means that there will be crashes from time to time. That experience aside, the laptop was capable of handling anything I threw at it (including heavy multitasking demands). os seems to take (mainly to improve the functionality of the operating system), then this is a solid laptop. As always, do your research first. This review alone shouldn't be enough to change your mind.
