So I haven't found any Linux app (Debian based or source code) that doesn't work on the Pixelbook. Activating Linux applications was as easy as pressing a key. i7 and 16 GB RAM ensure smooth operation. I program in PyCharm and WebStorm and often run them together with no problems. Really good hardware but numerous software issues make it difficult to recommend at the moment.
