15 years in IT. So I went through many machines from Thinkpads to Apple. This is the ideal machine if you need a thin client (e.g. SSH into a high-performance computer). It's thin and I can take it anywhere with no issues in terms of weight or usability. When you depend on the cloud for apps - and you don't need a £5 laptop. it's almost perfect. Criticisms include the official Linux boot option (which Google is said to be working on) and better battery life. I actually traded in my Surfacebook ($3,000) and got this one instead - never looked back. The Surfacebook has better stylus support, but that doesn't concern me too much.
