Does not run large for a petite girl. I ordered a size up (6-7 years) based on reviews and the pants keep falling off my kiddo. She is 5 years old, 3’-3” tall. She has a long torso but shorter legs. You cannot tell from the picture because she’s wearing boots, but there is about 4 inches of extra pant leg and she’s constantly hitching up her pants. The good news? She loves it! My kiddo has sensory issues with itchy fabric (tags and embroidery make her cry) but this outfit from tip to toe is ok for her! And the plus side to the length is she can wear these another year. A very cute outfit and good quality. Giftable, yes.
