Review on πŸ“š mCover Hard Shell Case for Microsoft Surface Book (13.5-inch Display, Blue) - Optimized for SEO by David Citizen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If I could give it a 4.9 I would put

This case is really fantastic. It protects my computer without adding tons of unnecessary bulk like all other surface bookshelves. I went for the clear case and have the skin on my SB2 so it can still be seen. It doesn't interfere with the sound or cooling at all and still fits perfectly in my backpack case. It's definitely a bit of work putting the top on. I had to press hard to lock it; Some of the protrusions extend to the edge of the screen and others snap onto the edge where the airflow/speakers are. The lower part is very easy to remove / put on. While I haven't had any charging issues since putting this case on, removing the bottom is so easy it shouldn't be a big deal. The bottom part of my skin/decal has peeled off a bit but I took it off and put it back on and it's like new. I was expecting the wavy texture to bother me but to be honest I like it. This gives the SB a little more grip when carrying it, which I really appreciate. I didn't think the bottom would be wavy as well, but it is if you care. The only reason I would dock it is because it's a little awkward to use as a tablet at the moment. The case only "grabs" the screen in 4 places, and they're not obvious unless you look for them. When I'm taking notes, I have to be a little creative with how I place my writing hand or they'll poke my forearm. I tried the folio which was awesome for taking notes but sucks in every other way. If you don't mind working a little (maybe 2 minutes) to turn it on and set it up for tablet use, then this is a phenomenal case. It's definitely worth a try for only $20!
