First of all, this is my first experience with this type of sponge. It comes in a clear package, is hard, and almost feels like hard chalk. It may break if dropped, crushed, or otherwise while in a solid state. Just hold it under water or soak it in a bowl or something and it will soften up quickly. The initial feeling of the sponge was slimy. Just slime or slime. Which made my sense of touch work to the limit. Even after "washing" him, he still felt that way. In terms of peeling, I find this one just too mild for that. If you don't have sensitive skin, then yes, you'll be fine. I like feeling the roughness of the skin while exfoliating and it just didn't have that. Maybe I'm weird. It's okay. The slimy feeling disappeared after using the shower gel sponge. It's also very flexible. It's not a bug or anything, but it amuses me. I love this sponge and hope it lasts. I'll probably buy another one depending on how long it lasts. But after using it twice, everything is fine.
