Wow Spring Chef is a great company to do business with, very responsive and I've never had a problem :-) I've never thought of a dough mixer as nothing Thought of different Blender for a test, but Spring Chef sent a long nice little PDF listing additional uses - I have a tiny kitchen, so any tool that can be used in different ways is a blessing. Now I'm the proud owner of a handy device that kneads dough (and I know how to turn it just right for maximum mixing) and is sharp enough to use in a grinder, too! My hands get numb and knives can be dangerous - I made chicken salad today and my fingers still don't have a scratch! Tomorrow is egg salad day! Oh, and they offer a lifetime guarantee.
