Anyway, the adapter works great. additional space is added by the adapter. Comes with four standard coarse thread PC screws. Another reviewer said that the adapter cannot be used in reverse. I'm not sure what they did, but you can use it to adapt a 120mm fan to a 140mm Just pay attention to the order of operations by attaching the 120mm fan before attaching the 140- Install mm side, otherwise the 120mm screw holes will be difficult to access (assuming you use standard PC screws).
