1995 Cherokee (XJ) with a rear driveshaft, factory driveshaft requires a replacement driveshaft at the pivot on the differential side. The original hasn't been oiled, it is. I don't recommend using a plug, instead using a flush mount that requires the installation of a needle-tipped grease gun. If you're spinning heavily, you might also want to consider a lifetime gimbal that doesn't need greasing, rather than a DD XJ gimbal, which is more convenient. The original driveshaft had 400,000 miles on it; I hope this replacement gets as much! Said Cherokee is pictured. Cherokee Country purchased new in October 1994 with the Up-Country HD off-road option. At the time of the photo I just got new suspension and rims/tires at 375,000 miles.
