I love my new bidet so much! While far from perfect, it's a real find. I had never used a bidet before and was a little concerned about knowing what to do. but as soon as the water started to splash, I grabbed it like a fish in water, so to speak. Don't worry, I figured it out in about three seconds, and I'm sure almost anyone could do it. During the COVID-19 lockdown there was no TP on the shelves in the Bay Area and my supply was running low. Before it became an emergency, I ordered this machine. Great idea! It arrived quickly and I installed it myself with channel lock pliers, teflon tape and a screwdriver, with moderate difficulty and swear words. The installation video was worth finding! The supplied manual was of little help, although it describes the remote control quite well. While I was able to figure out how to install from the video, it was more difficult to achieve. After all, the bidet port leaks very little — about 2 ounces of clean water a day, which I collect in a small bucket. I think I probably had to wrap the metal-to-metal joint twice with Teflon tape. Maybe I should uninstall and reinstall it, but. Without much plumbing skills I'll just live with it, what if I reinstall it even worse? The remote control is also a brilliant idea as it saves the user from having to turn to press the buttons behind them while using the bidet. However, the remote I have is finicky for me. Sometimes it doesn't register that I pressed the button; sometimes pops up but doesn't start the cycle; sometimes starts but stops and restarts. Sometimes the settings I had last time, such as for very warm water, went wrong overnight for no apparent reason. I don't know how to get the remote to work properly. But since I basically have all the time in the world due to blockages, I just keep tinkering and in the end it actually works. Love love love the warm water wash feature. A necessary feature for me to get to know the world of bidets. One day the remote forgot I had set the water temperature to the warmest setting and served cold water instead - oh no! I didn't like it at all! With warm water a tensing rather than a relaxing experience. I like the fan dry function. It doesn't dry me out at all. But its two-minute cycle removes a lot of moisture, so it ends up requiring less wiping (I made a small stack of washable terry towels for this purpose). Speaking of drying, the entire bidet cycle ends with more than a few drops of water being sprayed around the seat. kinda rude! So I end up wiping it off too. I'm not sure what the issue is - user error or something. But "down" is that I keep it clean despite the fact that I have really low TP with no prospect of getting more and that's what I signed on to. Per. So I am very, very grateful and pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product!
