I bought a 2012 Fusion that came with only one key. I used Forscan to program this as a third key as I didn't want to delete all the keys and then risk the programming not working for some reason and then being completely stuck. Then to program the keyless entry part I followed the instructions on remotesremotes.com where you turn the ignition on and off 8 times starting with the original key. If you press the buttons of an already programmed original key in the programming mode, an acoustic signal sounds. Then press the lock button on the new key, it does not need to be put in the ignition switch, the door locks should work and everything will work. It is also a newer, more modern key used in Ford vehicles than the one that came with the car. Overall a good buy and definitely a lot cheaper than the dealer.
