Will not work on a 2002 Ford Thunderbird

This key will not work on a 2002 Ford Thunderbird although Amazon says it would be compatible. My key was cut off. The key is put in the ignition and turned, but the engine will not start. I followed the programming guide as per the Ford manual using two OEM keys. I have requested a refund.

0 and it worked great. Would give it 5 stars but key.

Took a local locksmith to cut and program my 2014 Ford Mustang 5.0 like a master and it worked great. Would give it 5 stars but the key doesn't actually list an FCC ID number. So if you've lost another master and need an FCC number, unfortunately you may be out of luck. The rest works fine.

Two working keys required for independent operation.

You must already have two keys before you can program this key yourself. (Then you have three keys.) I have a 2008 Lincoln MKX. I lost one of the two keys. I figured I'd try it myself with my only remaining key. I managed to lock and unlock the car but wouldn't start it. I went to the Lincoln dealer and they programmed it for $72. I had already had a locksmith cut out the key. ($2.00) Key locks, unlocks and starts now. The trunk lift button did not work. The key is much lighter than the…

The key cannot be programmed on a 2011 Ford Fusion.

Bought one of the KeylessOption keys for my 2011 Ford Fusion. For starters, the product description says it comes with instructions, but they aren't on their website. Luckily I was able to cut the key for free. I was able to program the keyless part but I tried using the OEM two key process and it didn't work. So I went to my local Ford dealership and tried to program part of the key but it turned out not to be programmable. The technician warned me that maybe 1 in 10 non-genuine keys actually…

Great fit for my 2012 Ford Fusion!

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion and bought this key because I needed to reset the chip on the key which I already had as the chip had the Ford Mykey feature enabled. I took my fusion and key. sent a new spare key to my local Ford dealer and they cut and programmed the new key along with resetting the key that came with the car. It cost me $55 (even if I cut a new key before I walked in the door they wouldn't charge less) but since I could buy a brand new Ford key, go through the dealer program and…

Better than a car dealer key and much more value!

Let me start by saying that one weekend I dropped the keys to my truck in the lake and started searching the internet for a spare key. Dealers will charge you to change the key and then smack you again to "program" the key to your car. I ordered a replacement key with some caveats but when the key arrived the product and instructions were OEM quality. It took me less than three minutes to program the key myself, and the dealer only charged me a few dollars to mill a new key. I highly recommend…

Very important. Worked perfectly on 2012 Fusion.

I bought a 2012 Fusion that came with only one key. I used Forscan to program this as a third key as I didn't want to delete all the keys and then risk the programming not working for some reason and then being completely stuck. Then to program the keyless entry part I followed the instructions on remotesremotes.com where you turn the ignition on and off 8 times starting with the original key. If you press the buttons of an already programmed original key in the programming mode, an acoustic…
