I bought these mirrors for my 2014 Silverado 1500. Installation was quick and easy, and there are plenty of videos online showing how to remove door panels and window trim. A fourth hole would have to be drilled on the 1500 models, but I knew that and was prepared. The nuts that come with the mirrors don't come with washers so I reused the originals and found extra washers in my tool box to attach them. 4. Post. The wiring is longer than the original mirrors, but there was no problem refitting the door panels. It took about 30 minutes for each door, from start to finish. The end result looks and runs great, with no vibration at highway speeds.
