Bought to close the ventilation on the ceiling.
I bought them to close the ceiling fan in the bathroom. We live far south in Texas and it's getting HOT, I could feel the heat coming out of the vent. I was trying to figure out how to stop this and it occurred to me that the old swim caps I wore in the 60's would work. The vent is round and the shower cap fits perfectly! Anyway, it works great, I don't feel that hot air flow anymore BUT. I have to take it out to drain about once a week, it's so wet there is little water left in it, I'll change it about every two months. Thumbs up for this versatile article.
