I compared this to the no shelf/table type and am so grateful I chose this one. A small shelf/table is all and well worth the extra cost compared to those who don't have one. I wasn't sure if it would make a huge difference, but I was wrong, it's a useful feature that I use all the time. It's also very easy and incredibly quick (2-3 minutes) to set up and use. I waited a bit to post a review to make sure it still works well and so far I've used it through 4 out of 5 gallons. jugs of water and it still works just as well. It's not very long, but I'll update as performance changes over time. If, like me, you choose between pump types, you won't regret it! I'm deducting 1 star for this reason alone: There are 0.3L and 1L volume buttons. These buttons dispense half of what they are supposed to, ie the 1L button only dispenses 0.5L. This is fine for my use, but it is incorrectly advertised and labeled. I checked again and made sure it was fully charged in case that was the cause, but it didn't matter.
