Review on πŸ”’ Replacement Rear Liftgate Lock Actuator for Acura RSX 2002-2006 - Coupe Base & Type-S Models by Rich Montgomery

I made a chip for power door lock

I made the chip that works immediately and locks and unlocks the trunk normally after installation. The old original got stuck and wouldn't open or close when the key fob was pressed, and the Acura RSX trunk didn't have a keyhole, so I had to manually open or lock the sunroof from inside by lowering the rear seats. and by pulling and removing the small cut-out panel at about the same level as where the Acura badge is in the trunk, and manually moving the white lever on the actuator up, then it opens from the outside. I know some people stumble across the Acura badge and sometimes moving the faulty actuator and unlocking is enough, but it's always better to just replace the faulty part as it doesn't repair itself and ultimately won't be in the Will be able to keep the trunk either unlocked or unlocked. unusually blocked at the most inopportune moment. It's fairly easy to install, just remove 3 trim panels, each has a screw in it, and the two side panels have a hidden latch that pops open to reveal screws. Remove the 2 screws on the drive and disconnect the 2 electrical connectors on the side of the drive and reverse the steps after checking. It's like a 15-20 minute job, taking the fairings off and putting them back on was actually the hardest part of the job.
